We clear it and check the trap and vent.
A bad wax ring needs replacing.
Toilet repair includes a running toilet, a weak flush, a wax ring leak and clogs. Many fixes are fast: a new flapper, fill valve or seal. If your toilet is old and cracked, we install a new one.

Most often the flapper does not seal. It is a quick fix.
If it cracks, leaks at the bowl or clogs all the time, a new one is wise.
Too much paper, wipes or a weak flush can cause it. A partial blockage deeper in the line can also be the cause.
A worn wax ring or loose bolts are common causes. We reset the toilet with a new seal.
A worn fill valve or a partly closed supply valve can slow it down.
